Appointment Policy

Olympia Veterinary Hospital strives to ensure a clear understanding of your financial responsibility with respect to the medical services we provide. The following policies apply to all medical/wellness visits, treatments, and procedures.

Appointments:
For each medical, wellness, or vaccination visit, an exam fee is applied. We hold a debit/credit card number on file to reserve an appointment. Estimates may be provided upon request before any treatment(s) are performed.

Debit/Credit Cards:
We require clients to provide us with a debit/credit card number to keep on file to reserve your pet’s appointment(s) – this applies to wellness exams, drop-off appointments, surgical procedures, technician exams, etc.

Your card information will be stored in our secure and safe point of sale system software.

Cancellations/No Shows:
We understand that unexpected things come up. If you’re unable to make your appointment, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible. A $76 fee will be applied to your family’s card on file for missed appointments when we do not receive any communication (via text, call, or email) after a 15-minute grace period. Your notice allows us to offer that time to another patient in need of care, helping us serve all our families more efficiently.
