Appointment Policy

Olympia Veterinary Hospital strives to ensure a clear understanding of your financial responsibility with respect to the medical services we provide. The following policies apply to all medical/wellness visits, treatments, and procedures.

Appointments:
For each medical, wellness, or vaccination visit, an exam fee is applied. We hold a debit/credit card number on file to reserve an appointment. Estimates may be provided upon request before any treatment(s) are performed.

Debit/Credit Cards:
We require clients to provide us with a debit/credit card number to keep on file to reserve your pet’s appointment(s) – this applies to wellness exams, drop-off appointments, surgical procedures, technician exams, etc.

Your card information will be stored in our secure and safe point of sale system software.

Cancellations/No Shows:
We charge your credit card on file an exam fee ($65) if you do not give us notice (call, text, or email) within 24 hours of your pet’s scheduled appointment. Notification allows the veterinarian to see another patient who needs to be cared for that day.

Payments:
We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We DO NOT accept Care Credit or Scratchpay. We do not offer payment plans. All fees are to be paid upon discharge or release from the hospital.
