Associate Veterinarian (DVM) – Full-Time
Location: Olympia, WA

Compensation: Starting at $140k annually (experience-based)

Licensed Veterinary Technician – Full Time
Location: Olympia, WA
Pay: Starting at $27/hour (Experience-based)

Olympia Veterinary Hospital is growing and looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who’s ready to bring their skills, compassion, and teamwork to a supportive, patient-centered environment. Whether you’re newly licensed or a seasoned tech, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in surgeries and procedures, including anesthesia monitoring
  • Perform dental cleanings, radiographs, and assist with extractions
  • Place IV catheters, collect samples, and run diagnostics
  • Support patient care from intake to discharge with empathy and precision
  • Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and accurate medical records
  • Communicate clearly with veterinarians, team members, and clients
  • Contribute to a positive team dynamic and client-centered experience

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Skilled in routine dental procedures such as scaling, polishing, x-rays, extractions, and suturing
  • Able to support surgeries, diagnostics, and patient care from intake to discharge
  • Experienced in monitoring anesthesia, placing IV catheters, collecting samples, and maintaining accurate records
  • Committed to maintaining a clean, organized treatment space and communicating clearly with both clients and team members
  • Brings a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a calm, compassionate presence
  • A dependable team player with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative environment

Veterinary Assistant – Full Time
Location: Olympia, WA
Pay: Starting at $18/hour (Experience-based)

We’re expanding and looking for a Veterinary Assistant who’s eager to grow together with our team—both professionally and personally. This full-time, client-facing role is a dynamic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in patient care, sharpen your clinical skills, and flourish within a positive, team-driven environment where your work is valued and recognized, and your growth is supported every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with patient appointments, including restraint, sample collection, and exam preparation
  • Supporting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and routine procedures
  • Providing gentle, compassionate care to patients before, during, and after their visits
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including laundry, sanitation, and restocking
  • Communicating effectively with both clients and team members
  • Taking initiative and contributing to a supportive, family-oriented environment where everyone works together and has each other’s back.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or a similar role
  • Veterinary medicine knowledge is a plus, but not required
  • An excellent attitude and strong verbal & written communication skills
  • A desire to learn, grow, and contribute
  • Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail
  • A calm, compassionate presence under pressure
  • A team player who’s dependable, friendly, and ready to grow
